Searching Archives and Special Collections: Advanced Search Tips

Click the plus (+) symbol to the right of the search bars to include multiple terms.

Use wildcard symbols to help return a higher number of relevant results.

• ? replaces a single letter in a search term (wom?n will return both woman and women)
• * replaces any number of letters at the end of a search term (instruct* returns instruct, instructs, instructor)
