College Archives

Franklin and Marshall College Archives collects and preserves the permanent historical record of Franklin and Marshall College (1853-present) and its related institutions: Franklin College (1787-1853), Marshall College (1835-1853), and Franklin and Marshall Academy (1871-1943). The College Archives is home to a number of major college publications, including student newspapers, yearbooks, student honors theses, and college catalogs as well as publications of the Alumni Association. Many of these have been digitized and are available through F&M Digital Collections.

Most materials are available to all researchers. However, some official records  may be restricted to the use of administrative staff and require the permission of the office of origin for their use. Interested researchers should contact Archives & Special Collections for access information on specific materials.
