David A. Landis (1897-1967)

David Allen Landis, born April 8, 1897 in East Petersburg, PA, was a 1914 graduate of the Franklin and Marshall Academy. After graduating from Swarthmore College in 1918 Landis enlisted on June 3, 1918 in Company F of the 26th Engineers Regiment (U.S. Army). Landis's diary covers the period from July 30, 1918 to March 21, 1919.
