Black & White 4¢/single sided, 6¢/double sided
Color 10¢/single sided, 19¢/double sided

 

- HOW TO PRINT

These directions are for printing using a public computer. If you would like to print using your own device (laptop, smartphone, tablet) please visit go.fandm.edu/printing.

Please note that your will need your ID Card to print.

  1. Open your document on a library computer
  2. Click "print"
  3. Select "PaperCut"
  4. Choose "2-sided"
  5. Click "Print" your job will be available for up to 24 hours
  6. Go to any PaperCut printer
  7. Wave F&M ID Card over reader
    • 1st time users, at touch screen:
    • - Enter NetID & password
    • - Wave F&M ID Card again
  8. Select print jobs
  9. Touch "Print"
  10. Touch "Log Out"
  11. Collect print jobs from printer

Specialty Printing

The Shadek-Fackenthal Library has a poster printer, 3D printers and other instructional technology available for current F&M student, staff and faculty use managed by the Instructional & Emerging Technology Department. Not all services are supported every hour the building is open, but there are Tech Tutors on site many hours to assist as needed. 

 

If a Tech Tutor isn't available, there are directions adjacent some devices, a visible Tutor schedule, or you can email our instructional technologists at iet@fandm.edu to request an appointment during regular working hours.

 

Poster Printing is available on the first floor of the Shadek-Fackenthal library for F&M students, faculty, and staff. Please refer to this site: go.fandm.edu/posterprinting for details about cost and how to print.

 

3D Printing (PLA plastic and several types of resin) is available on the first floor of the Shadek-Fackenthal Library (Room 108, Tech Tutor area) at no cost. Please consult with student tech tutors or an instructional technologist as you design and print your 3D object.

Scanning & Copying

Students, Faculty, and Staff should use their F&M ID Card to Copy or Scan. 
The charge for copying is the same as printing. There is no charge for scanning.

Visitors who wish to Copy or Scan should ask for assistance from the Research Office or Circulation Desk.

Wireless

The F&M wireless network Eduroam can be accessed by current F&M students, faculty and professional staff. See the instructions below to connect. 

Guests may use the Guest wireless network FandM-Guest-WiFi.  

 

Connect to Eduroam:

  1. Select Eduroam from your available wireless networks

  2. When prompted for your Username, enter your NetID followed by @fandm.edu

  3. Enter your F&M password.

  4. Select TRUST in upper right hand corner.

Guest Use

If you are not a current F&M student, faculty, or staff member, guest wifi is available on your laptop or mobile device. Other technology access will be restricted to using the Library Catalog and scanner/copiers. See the full policy for more detail.
