Aside from its JSHA collection, the Archives and Special Collections Department houses little genealogical information other than that relating to former Franklin & Marshall College faculty, students and administrators. All Reformed Church records and any general family history material were transferred to the Lancaster Theological Seminary in 1967 when the Evangelical and Reformed Historical Society (ERHS) moved from the College's Fackenthal Library to the Seminary's Philip Schaff Library. Despite persistent published citations noting the Fackenthal Library as the source of genealogical materials or Reformed Church records, researchers should contact the ERHS at the address listed below.
