Zotero

Zotero is a citation management tool that is incredibly helpful for organizing your research!

You can use it to create citations easily in Google Docs & Word, and you can easily generate bibliographies, too.

To download Zotero, visit the Zotero homepage

For more help with Zotero, use their Quick Start Guide or get in touch with your librarian.

Organizing Your Research

It's important to keep track of your resources, visual inspiration, and other material for your class work. This can manifest in several different ways, and can be as simple or as complex as you'd like it to be. To start, I recommend making a concept map like the one pictured below, to keep track of your keywords and searches. You can use a computer program like Lucidchart, or pen and paper - it's up to you!

You can also use resources like Zotero, a citation management tool, to keep track of your books, articles, websites, and images. For more information on using Zotero in your work, visit Zotero's Quick Start Guide
