Connections 1: Research/Information Literacy Aims and Skills

Connections 1 Seminars will contain materials and assignments that provide an introduction to and development of:

Research/Information Literacy

• Using the library and other resources to identify useful and reputable sources of information.
• Understanding how to use paraphrase, quotation, and citation properly.
• Identifying and evaluating additional types of information that would augment one’s understanding of assigned material.

Consult with the course librarian to design and schedule library experiences best suited to the content and flow of your course.
