The Visual Resources Department manages a number of interdisciplinary digital image resources for supporting teaching and learning at Franklin & Marshall College. The ARTstor Digital Library, with nearly two million images, is an excellent place to start scholarly visual research. Local Digital Images (from photographs taken by faculty/faculty emeriti and also individual images licensed by the library) are available in Scholars Square, F&M's institutional repository. Links to collections of Images on the Web are compiled in the resource, "Finding Images on the Web: An Annotated Guide to Multidisciplinary Resources." Using Visual Resources includes image-citation help and information about copyright.
