Gifts and Donations Policy
The Library will accept gifts on the condition that we are free to add or dispose of them based on collection needs. Acknowledgement will be supplied to the donor, but the donor will need to arrange for and pay for any appraisal. Gifts will be accepted for addition to the collection using the same standards as outlined above for purchases. With the possible exception of gifts going to Special Collections, all added items will be integrated into the general collection and no gift will be housed as a separate and complete unit. A completed Gift Agreement (also available at the circulation desk) is requested with all donations.
