GOV 305: Public Policy Analysis and Implementation

To discover books and ebooks @ F&M:  

1. Start at the F&M College Library web site: library.fandm.edu
2. In the DISCOVER box, click on Advanced Search.
3. Perform a combined Keyword and Subject field search:
   1. In the Keyword search index, type in your topic:  (boys OR men) AND identity
   2. In the Subject search index, type in one of the following:
   • policy
   • "public policy"
   • "social policy"
   • "economic policy"
   • "cultural policy"
4. Search!
5. On the results page, select: Source Types: eBook and Print Book

To discover books available to borrow from other libraries:

1. On the results page, select: Location: Libraries Worldwide
2. Then select Source Type: Print Book -- because we can borrow print books (but not whole ebooks) from other libraries.  
   1. To borrow a print book, use the Request from another library feature in the book's description.
   2. Note: should you discover an eBook with relevant content, we are able to get pdfs of ebook chapters from other libraries!  To do this, use the EZBorrow/Interlibrary Loan Service.

If you find a print book in DISCOVER to which we do not have immediate access, click on the button in DISCOVER to request the book from another library.
