Exhibit Description

The Franklin & Marshall College Library invites you to visit Native Voices, an interactive exhibition that examines concepts of health and medicine among contemporary Native Americans, Alaska Natives, and Native Hawai’ians and features interviews contained in iPads with more than one hundred tribal leaders, healers, physicians, educators, and others, along with colorful, descriptive banners.

The U.S. National Library of Medicine (NLM) developed and produced Native Voices: Native Peoples Concepts of Health and Illness.The American Library Association (ALA) Public Programs Office, in partnership with NLM, tours the exhibition to America’s libraries. The F&M College Library is one of 104 host sites selected from across the country.
