CNX 137: International Relations Through Literature

To discover books/book chapters about your specific poet:

1. Start at the F&M College Library web site: library.fandm.edu

2. Click on Advanced Search.

Perform a SUBJECT search on the poet's name:

Select: Search Index: Subject: poet's last name, poet's first name

Example: Subject: hughes, langston 

3.Filter by: Source type: under the category Book, select: eBook, Print Book

4. Scroll down, and click on the Search button!

To discover books/book chapters about a generation or community of poets:

1. Start at the F&M College Library web site: library.fandm.edu

2. Click on the tab BOOKS.

3. Copy/Paste in one of the following search statements:

poets AND "world war i"

poets AND "world war ii"

poets AND "spanish civil war"

poets AND "harlem renaissance"

4. Search!
