CNX 177: Language & the 21st Century

During your time at F&M, you will likely hear the phrase, "Scholarship is a Conversation". That means that researchers contribute to a body of knowledge and build off each other's research. A works cited list is a way of illustrating the components of that conversation. Research that you do and scholarship that you create will become part of a conversation.

Student Question: 

I guess I have a question about access. In high school I didn't necessarily have access to a lot of resources, without paying or gaining the rights. Do we get access through the school to whatever resources we find in the College Library and related databases, etc?
