Why does Word quit when I'm on eDisk at the library?

Most likely, your eDisk Word preferencess are incompatible with the Word application on the local machine. This can be fixed by going to the Finder Menu > choose Go, then Home > find Library folder, then Preferences > discard the current Microsoft folder > now try to open desired document.

Other Frequently Asked Questions can be found here.

  • DO attempt to restrict printing to necessary files.
  • DO attempt to print on both sides of the page.
  • DO attempt to print multiple slides of a Powerpoint on a single page.
  • DO logout of your eDisk account when done, so no one steals or edits your files.
