Since F&M doesn't have an Education program, our resources are limited. But, Education Full Text and ERIC are good databases to find full-text journal information, or citations for materials that may either be in our collection, or at another library. Education Full Text indexes more than 400 domestic and international English-language periodicals and yearbooks. Subjects include administration, teaching methods and curriculum, literacy, and government funding. Covers 1984 to the present.

Index to journal articles, government studies, books, dissertations, and other material on education and related fields that combines citations of sponsored reports, from Resources in Education, and over 750 journals, from the Current Index to Journals in Education. Covers 1982 to the present.

Connections to newspaper articles (including New York Times and Washington Post). Try searching in NEWS, then General News. You might also try searching US News, then newspapers withing a state, to find information about a city or region that may have incorporated dance into school programs.

Jstor doesn't have many Dance title, but enough that it might worth visiting this resource. Most Dance information will relate to history, choreography and performance. Jstor is a collection of abstracts and articles from over 100 scholarly journals, many dating from the nineteenth-century to the last 4 or 5 years.
