Available from the Library web page under Indexes and Article Collections. Browse the entire list
to find databases relevant to your particular topic. The databases listed below are most likely to
be useful:
- Anthropology Plus
- Provides extensive worldwide indexing in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological,
and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and
interdisciplinary studies. Covers over 2500 journals, 19th century to the present.
- BIOSIS (Basic)
- Over 500,000 records from selected journals covered in BIOSIS Previews. Covers 1988 to the
present.
- Lexis-Nexis
- Connections to newspaper articles, business information, and legal resources.
- Medline
- MEDLINE provides access to over 12 million citations back to the mid-1960's in all areas
of medicine, including dentistry and nursing.
- PAIS International
- Index to policy-oriented literature (books, journal articles and U.S. and foreign government
documents). International coverage of information about political, economic and social issues and
events in specific countries. Covers 1972 to the present.
- PAIS Archive
- Index to policy-oriented literature (books, journal articles and U.S. and foreign government
documents). International coverage of information about political, economic and social issues and
events in specific countries. Covers 1915 to 1976.
- Sociological Abstracts
- Full version comprehensive database of over 1500 journals covering sociology, social work, and
other social sciences. Covers 1963 to the present.
- Wilson Select Plus
- Contains indexed and abstracted articles all with full-text online.
How to get articles and books
Search for journals owned by F&M:
Click on the Journals at F&M box on the Library web
page, and then enter the name of the journal.

Interlibrary Loan for books and articles:
Form available from Library web page. You will be prompted for your F&M username and password. Be
THOROUGH in the information you provide. If you are unsure of any citation information, please
indicate in "Comments" field. Also, please include source of the citation whenever possible.
Allow two weeks for delivery, some items may arrive sooner.
