Location, Directions, Parking

We are located on ground floor of the Shadek-Fackenthal Library at Franklin and Marshall College. The library is located at the intersection of West James Street and College Avenues along the 400 block of College Avenue. Parking can be difficult during the school year but can be found along nearby College and Buchanan Avenues, except during street cleaning days and times as posted (currently the 2nd and 4th Mondays of the month for the south side of Buchanan Avenue and east side of College Avenue and the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays for the north side of Buchanan Avenue and west side of College Avenue). On campus visitor parking in the North Museum lot off Buchanan Avenue and Williamson lot off Harrisburg Pike may also be available. Permits should be obtained by visiting the Public Safety office located off Race Avenue.

Hours and Contact
Archives and Special Collections reading room hours for researchers are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday all year. Since hours may vary during summer and holiday periods, it is recommended that those wishing to use the collection call or email in advance to confirm hours or schedule an appointment. ALL inquiries should be directed to:
