Collections: Special Collections

In addition to preserving the visual and written institutional record of the College in the college archives, Franklin and Marshall also preserves the unpublished, one-of-a-kind personal papers of prominent local individuals and families in the manuscript collection, and maintains additional collections of historical published/printed materials such as rare books, maps, prints, posters, photographs, newspapers and unique sub-collections of material such as the German-American Imprint Collection consisting of newspapers, books, almanacs, fraktur and broadsides printed in the German Language in North America.
