The Archives and Special Collections department at Franklin & Marshall College organizes, preserves, and promotes the visual and written record of the college, and special collections of the library. Reference services are provided to members of the F&M community and general public. The department is especially rich in materials documenting Pennsylvania-German Culture, the Classics, the Natural Sciences, Exploration, the United States Civil War, Benjamin Franklin, and the history of Franklin and Marshall College.
