Two (2) regiments have been organized & armed this morning. They are on their way to depot with a battery of Dahlgren howitzers, four (4) guns. Gen’l Reynolds is busy here & I suppose will leave tomorrow for Chambersburg. In the meantime you will have to do the best possible to shape the army.
