How many horses do you want to mount your men.

The A.S. Marshall here says there are a number of good horses in this neighborhood which were not taken by the Rebels on acct. of their owners, Secesh protectors[?]. I have telegraphed Gen. R. to know whether I shall press them. If I am to do so I will send them to you as soon as I get any.
