Coast Reservation Camp Umpqua City, O.T.

The Detachment of Company “E,” 4th Infy. under Lieut. J.[?]G. Chandler, 3d. Arty., having accomplished the only assigned it in Orders No. 6, Hd. Qrs. Dist. S.O. & N.C. will return to Fr. Lane via Scottsburg at which place Lt. Chandler will provide himself with transportation for his command by land & having turned over the Detach. at Ft. Lane he will proceed to join his proper Company.
Lieut.
Drysdale A.A.Q.M. will make the necessary contract for its transportation by
steamer from this place to Scottsburg, and will here discharge all kind animals
employed under the contract with O.A. Hillman in the manner stipulated in said
contract and also the citizens _____ with it. Comp. “H,” 3d. Arty. will for the present take
port at this point and the comdg. officer will furnish such escort as may be
called for by the Indian Agent for the _______ of removing the Cone[?] Bay
& Umpqua Indians now here, to the Coast Reservation.
