My Dear Father
I have again commenced going to school and intend to be more attentive in future I am almost out of Simple Reduction. My Mother has subscribed for one ticket in the Lancaster Dramatic Society for 50 cents which entitles one person to go three times and my Mother made a bargain whoever behaves best shall go the most times John fell in the yard and hurt his forehead very badly this evening. Samuel wrote to his Grandmother Fulton. Little Jane has taken the Vaccination My Grandmother is not well and has not been down stairs for a week past. We will all be very glad when you come home and I was very glad to hear that you were pleased with our letters
